These drawings attempt to depict proposed designs for the front entrance. Time constraints prevented me from showing all the details or the trim and surrounding area. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Craig Ashworth or me, Thom Gifford, at 508.789.3399.
Dimensions have been omitted for clarity.
These drawings could be emailed and a Viewer application downloaded from Ashlar.com. Then the drawings can be opened on your computer, dimensioned and viewed in greater detail than available here. If you would like to try this just let me know, either by email or at the phone number above.

This next drawing is the latest, I took some iniative and made a slight change which is version 8.5.

Drawing #1, version #7, 9/2/2003. This is a handsome compromise between #3 & #6. The horizontal panels are a good counterpoint from the "traditional" vertically oriented layouts. This is, I think, the best design so far!

Drawing #2, all wood raised panels. Large top panel could be 2 narrower panels as below.

Drawing #3, wood raised panels below, glass in top of door. A striking traditional design.

Drawing #4, wood raised panels below, glass in
top of door with leaded division. Could also be with wood
muntins and square tops.

Drawing #5, wood raised panels below, one large wood panel in top of door.

Drawing #6, a variation of drawing #1 & #3. A little less busy than #3 & still enhances the leaded glass sidelites.
Please note that these are only a few of the
possible design elements that can be used for your entrance door.
Anything is possible, we only need some direction.
Some suggestions from "the Door Shop" are to use planted moldings around the panels or glass, use colored glass with either wood or leaded muntins or to etch the glass with a design or designs of your choice.
