A Housed Stair in a private home on Cape Cod. For this job only parts were supplied and the finish carpenters installed the finished stair. The cherry rail, fittings and poplar balusters were stock items from our supplier. |

 The stair on the left leads to the floor shown on the right. The Ships Ladder goes through a roof hatch to a Widows Walk. Both Stairs are examples of Housed Stair Construction. They were shipped to the job site as parts, then assembled and installed by Swallows Nest. |

Willowbend Golf Club, Mashpee, MA. A Housed Stair of Ash. This entire job was fabricated by Swallows Nest and installed by us. All rails, balusters and newels were custom fabricated in Ash. Swallows Nest created a total of 5 stairs on this project. This also is an example of housed construction. |
